Unrivalled flexibility and choice

After an extensive tender process back in April 2005, Ealing LEA decided to formally contract the Ealing LEA Gateway teacher supply service for a minimum period of two years.

The intention of the LEA is that all supply teachers operating in Ealing should be encouraged to operate through the LEA Gateway. The LEA Gateway is specifically designed to ensure that the maximum number of Ealing supply teachers teach in their chosen subject and age group. This of course benefits both the supply teachers and the pupils. At the same time the cash drain of multiple agency costs is lifted from the budgets of Ealing schools.

The aim of the LEA Gateway is to divert these funds back to schools and /or teachers.
